With just two games left on the slate, we're taking a trip to the West Coast. The San Diego Padres are taking on the visiting Milwaukee Brewers tonight on Thursday Night Baseball.
The Padres will have rookie Adam Mazur on the bump; he's had just one start at home this season, allowing 8 hits, 8 ER, and 1 home run.
He's struggled this season against lefties and tonight he gets a Brewers lineup stacked with big, left handed bats.
On the flip side, the Brewers are sending out 7th year Bryse Wilson. Wilson's been decent this season, posting a 3..84 ERA and giving up just 7.28 hits per 9 innings.

Yelich is batting 0.324 on the season and 0.271 in 26 games at Petco Park. He's been the Brewers most reliable hitter and tonight against a righty that has struggled against big left handed bats, I'm turning to Yelich.
Adam Mazur is allowing 9.59 hits per 9 innings and he allowed left handed batters to hit 0.409 against him. Yelich is currently batting 0.311 against right handed pitchers.
He's hit his bases in 5 of his L7 games and tonight in San Diego, I think maybe he hits one into the water.

This is more of just a gut call, Tatis is coming home after a six game road trip in which he went a combined 3/20; hitting his bases just once with a double. He's been pretty bad to say the least.
At home this season, Tatis is batting 0.222; compared to 0.316 on the road. The strange thing is that Tatis has hit 10 of his 13 home runs this year in Petco Park, despite posting such a bad batting average.
Tatis has 4 home runs through 18 games this month and he hasn't hit one since June 9th against the Athletics, in Petco Park. He's now coming home after this long road trip on the east coast, having gone 3/20 during this time; he's so due.
