The Texas Rangers are at Camden Yards tonight taking on the Orioles in this week's edition of Sunday Night Baseball! The Orioles have won all three games of this series so far, and the Rangers are looking to come away with at least one win on this road trip.

The Rangers have actually lost six straight games, all a part of this two series road trip, and head back to Texas after tonight. They will absolutely be looking for something positive to bring into their next series, even if that means finding a way to win tonight. It looks like we will have two lefties on the bump for their teams, therefore we are in for a great showdown!

Will Orioles Complete Home Sweep?

This has been a "character building" roadtrip for the Rangers who have lost all six contests. They've been putting up a fight, having covered the run line in their last two losses, but have not been able to finish one of these games off. Tonight it won't be any easier going against the Orioles at Camden Yards.

The Rangers are just 17-27 on the road this year and are tossing out Andrew Heaney. Heaney has lost 3 of his L4 outings, he's allowed home runs in all 4 of those games, and at least 2+ Earned Runs. Ironically enough, he statistically pitches better on the road, but the Orioles love hitting against LHP.

The Orioles are 29-16 at Camden Yards where their .255 average jumps up .260 as a team. That number keeps climbing up to .264 against LHP and I know the Baltimore batters are loving a chance to face Heaney. They've been rock solid this month as they are actually hitting .275 as a team in the month of June. The Orioles just took over 1st place in the AL East, and this is a great opportunity to stay ahead and even build a little bit of a lead over the Yankees.

This game is certainly the Orioles to lose, but I think they handle business. Cole Irvin hasn't been the best for the Orioles, but I think tonight he does well enough to get the O's a win.

Texas Rangers vs Baltimore Orioles Best Bets

Best Bet: Orioles -1.5 (+135) Bovada

I think we see plenty of runs in this game, so I will be backing the Orioles on the run line and the Over 9 as well. Like I said, Texas has lost 6 straight games, but they have covered the run line in their last two. Tonight that changes because Andrew Heaney will be tossing batting practice to all the Orioles who love hitting lefties.

However, Cole Irvin has had some rough outings for the Orioles, therefore I think we see runs from both sides, easily getting us to double digit runs. Two of three games in this series have gone over this number already, and the Orioles are no stranger to scoring runs at home. Irvin has allowed 2+ earned runs in 5 straight starts, including allowing 5 home runs over that stretch as well.

On national television, I think we see some somewhat juiced balls, some exciting baseball, and plenty of fireworks from guys crossing the plate. Ultimately, I see the Orioles covering the run line with easy as I expect 12+ runs in this game easily.
