MLB Best Hitter Props Tonight cover

mlb

Huge slate today, 15 games across the league, and hot hitters everywhere.

Julio Rodríguez is leading the Mariners to a potential division crown, batting 0.350 in his L5 games with a 0.700 SLG. He went 4/5 last night vs the A’s, recording two singles, a double, and a home run.

If you haven’t seen the Trea Turner standing ovation story, just give it a quick google. Since the Philly faithful started giving Trea these standing ovations, he’s been batting 0.397 with 5 HRs, 18 RBIs, and 15 runs scored; all in just 17 games.

Baseball has its moments, let’s just hope for some more magic tonight.

Julio Rodríguez o1.5 Total Bases (-130)

Julio Rodríguez has been one of the hottest hitters in MLB over the last month.

In just his second season, JRod is playing like a vet; turning his play all the way up when it matters most. Rodríguez is batting 0.429 in the month of August, with 7 HRs; the most he’s ever recorded in a 30 day span.

JRod’s batting o.277 vs the division, and 0.320 vs the A’s; recording a 0.317 BA v LHP. Waldichuck is allowing RHB to hit 0.289 with a 0.581 SLG, he’s also allowing 10.23 hits/9 and 1.72 HR/9; and he’s somehow worse on the road; posting a 7.43 road ERA.

He’s been one of the most dependable guys to bet on this season, especially as the playoffs are getting closer. Push the button, and let’s ride the hot hand.

Trea Turner o1.5 Total Bases (+100)

Trea Turner has come alive in the month of of August, batting 0.313 with 7 HRs.

Trea Turner is back. Shoutout to Philly fans everywhere for really showing out for their guy, this is the kind of thing we love to see in sports.

Quick summary, Trea Turner’s having one of the worst seasons he’s ever had. Now rather than boo him every chance they got, Philly fans came together to give him a standing ovation every time he walked up to the plate.

Now has Trea obviously made some adjustments, and did something to break the slump. But since the standing ovations began, he’s batting 0.397 w 5 HRs in 17 home games. He’s also batting 0.313 w 7 HRs and a 0.606 SLG in the month of August, across 22 games.

Against Tyler Anderson, he’s 5/10 w 3 singles, a double, and a triple. Anderson’s also allowing RHB to hit 0.285 and posting a 5.63 road ERA.

In Trea we trust.

Bryce Harper o1.5 HRR (-130)

Bryce Harper is back, and just in time for the playoffs.

I hate to double dip on the same lineup here but the numbers coming out of Philadelphia lately are just bonkers.

Harper is batting 0.307 on the year and 0.341 @ home. Over his L5 games, he’s batting 0.500 with 2 HRs, 8 RBIs, 5 runs scored, and a 1.000 SLG. He’s recorded a 0.360 BA in the month of August with a 0.742 SLG.

To say he’s come alive, would be an understatement. He’s hit 8 HRs this month, more than double the number he recorded in any other month this season.

Harper’s been having a down year by any measure, but he seems to be finding his groove again. In his career, he’s batting 0.500 vs Tyler Anderson, with 4 hits, 2 of those being HRs.

It’s a beautiful day for some runs in Philly.

Bonus Sprinkle: J. Rodríguez 2+ RBI / B. Harper 2+ RBI (+5900)

JRod’s had 2+ RBIs in three straight, while Harper’s had 2+ in 5 of his L6 games. Don’t go crazy but for a tenth of a unit, why not?
