Day 3 of the World Cup is here, and we have a full weekend of matches ahead. In this article, we'll break down one player prop from each of today's three matches. Each play offers value compared to their matchup and how I am seeing things shaking out.

Featured Plays

Dan Ndoye To Score or Assist

The young Nottingham Forest winger will be looking to make an immediate impact for Switzerland at the 2026 World Cup.

Switzerland opens its tournament against a Qatar side that I rate as the weakest team in the field. This is a favorable matchup for the Swiss attack. Ndoye should have plenty of opportunities down the right flank.

He enters the tournament in excellent international form. Ndoye scored in both of Switzerland's pre-World Cup friendlies. He has also recorded a goal or assist in four of his last five starts. He only played the first half in three of those matches.

His club season at Forest was somewhat disappointing. However, international football has been a different story. Switzerland should control possession and create plenty of chances. If they score multiple goals, Ndoye has a strong chance of being involved.

Play: Dan Ndoye To Score or Assist (-110)

Brahim Diaz To Score or Assist

Brahim Diaz will once again be one of the focal points of Morocco's attack as they begin their World Cup campaign.

Many fans think of his missed penalty in the Africa Cup of Nations final. That moment is now firmly in the past. Morocco has the talent and experience to make another deep run. They have already proven they can compete with elite opponents.

Their opening match against Brazil is a difficult test. Still, I expect Morocco to keep things competitive. Diaz remains the player most likely to provide a breakthrough moment.

He did not see consistent minutes for Real Madrid this season. Even so, he remains a key figure for his national team. Diaz scored in five straight Africa Cup of Nations matches. He also netted Morocco's lone goal in a recent friendly against Norway.

His numbers for Morocco have been outstanding. Across his last 17 competitive appearances, he has recorded 13 goals and two assists. Whether this match stays tight or opens up, the value is hard to ignore.

Play: Brahim Diaz To Score or Assist (+310)

Lawrence Shankland Anytime Goalscorer

The 30 year old striker for Scotland will look to make some noise at this years World Cup.

This may be my favorite play on today's card.

I believe the market is undervaluing Scotland in this matchup. At the same time, Haiti may be getting a little too much respect. Shankland enters the tournament in excellent form. He scored 16 goals in 29 appearances for Hearts this season.

He is a player who consistently finds dangerous positions. His movement creates problems for opposing defenses. He also heads into the World Cup with momentum. Shankland scored three goals across Scotland's two warm-up friendlies.

Haiti's aggressive style often leads to open matches. Their most recent friendly ended with two goals conceded to Peru. They have also allowed multiple goals against Curaçao, Aruba, Jamaica, and Honduras.

This matchup should create chances at both ends. With players like Scott McTominay and Andrew Robertson providing service, Shankland should see opportunities throughout the match. I like his chances of finding the net. I would not be surprised if he scores more than once.

Play: Lawrence Shankland Anytime Goalscorer (+140) / 2+ Goals (+700)
