MLS

We're back with another loaded MLS slate tonight!

We had a solid midweek card, cashing two of our three article plays. Let's see if we can match that or improve on it tonight.

I also don't expect much rotation across the league. Most teams played three days ago, but the long World Cup break should have everyone fresh and ready to go.

Let's get into my favorite player props.

Antoine Griezmann (Orlando City) To Score or Assist

I might have boots on the ground for this one if everything lines up today. If I can make the three hour drive to Orlando, I'll be there!

I mentioned in my last article that the books were hanging soft numbers on some of these new MLS arrivals.

That already appears to be changing.

Griezmann was +140 for this prop on Wednesday. Now he's nearly down to even money for his home debut.

I don't think we're going to see a plus sign next to this market much longer.

Griezmann is the type of player who raises the level of everyone around him.

That was obvious in his MLS debut.

He created five chances, including two big chances, fired two shots, and found the back of the net. Orlando rolled to a 4-0 win over San Jose, and Griezmann looked like he'd been playing in this system for years.

This is a tougher matchup against a quality Nashville side.

That said, Nashville haven't looked like themselves since returning from the World Cup break. They escaped with wins over Atlanta and Montreal, but neither performance was particularly convincing.

I expect Orlando's crowd to be electric for Griezmann's home debut.

With the way he's already fitting into this attack, I like him to stay involved in another goal.

Milan Iloski (Philadelphia Union) To Score or Assist

Milan Iloski will look to stay hot for a Union side that is well in form right now.

If you don't follow MLS closely, Milan Iloski may not be a household name just yet.

That won't last much longer.

Since arriving from Denmark, Iloski has scored 23 goals and added eight assists in just 47 appearances. Last season, he produced those numbers despite starting only half of his 26 league matches.

He's carried that form into this season.

Iloski has contributed in four straight matches. Last time out, he created four chances, including two big chances, while registering six shots and three on target.

The underlying numbers are just as impressive.

He leads Philadelphia in goals per 90 minutes, expected goals, expected goals per 90, and chances created at two per match.

I also think the Union are about to become one of the league's biggest stories during the second half of the season.

Cavan Sullivan is now earning regular starts, and older brother Quinn Sullivan is back from injury. That gives Philadelphia even more creativity around Iloski.

Now they face a Seattle side that has struggled badly since the international break.

I expect Philadelphia to continue rolling at home.

Getting Iloski at plus money feels like outstanding value.

Play: Milan Iloski To Score or Assist (+125)

Zavier Gozo (Real Salt Lake) To Score or Assist

The young American talent looks to lead RSL in another road match.

If you don't know Zavier Gozo yet, you will soon.

The 19-year-old is one of the brightest young American talents in MLS, and he looks well on his way to competing for a spot on the 2030 U.S. World Cup squad if this trajectory continues.

Gozo took a huge step forward this season.

After an inconsistent 2025 campaign, he's become one of Real Salt Lake's most dangerous attacking players.

While he naturally plays the right midfield position, he's comfortable all over the pitch. His pace, directness, and ability to attack defenders have caused problems all season.

In just 15 matches, he's recorded six goals and four assists.

He ranks third on the team in goals per 90 minutes and expected goals. He's also second in chances created and leads the club in big chances created.

Salt Lake dropped points to LAFC earlier this week, but I actually thought they were the better side despite the 3-1 scoreline.

Now they head to Portland for a matchup that should feature plenty of chances.

The Timbers rank near the bottom of MLS in expected goals conceded, and their home matches consistently turn into wide open games.

I expect another high scoring affair.

If that happens, Gozo should have plenty of opportunities to attack Portland's right side and make another impact.

Play: Zavier Gozo To Score or Assist (+130)
