It's the biggest game of the year so you know I've got way more touchdown bets than I actually should. Super Bowl LX kicks off in less than 96 hours and we're here to kick it off with a couple long shot touchdown bets.
Let's kick it off with one of the grossest touchdowns on the board this week, Austin Hooper. The veteran TE is in his 10th year in the NFL and he's had a pretty slow year. Hooper's seen just 26 total targets this year, reeling in 23 for a total of 236 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.
Hooper is the Patriots 2nd string TE and with Hunter Henry having the year he is, it's no surprise to see Hooper's usage take a backseat.
That being said, Hooper is a 10-year NFL Vet, he's played in 165 total NFL games and he's also played in a ton of big playoff games. Hooper's played in 10 total playoff games now for 3 different franchises and this will be the second time he's made the Super Bowl.
Last time Hooper was on this stage he was playing AGAINST the Patriots in Super Bowl LI; the infamous 28-3 collapse. Hooper managed 3 receptions in that Super Bowl but more importantly, he got into the endzone.
This week Hooper has a chance to right that wrong and how sweet would it be if got into the endzone once again.

Sam Darnold Anytime Touchdown (+750) | Lucky Rebel
This one's even stranger than Austin Hooper. Sam Darnold is not the guy you think of when you think rushing touchdowns or even jus taking off with his legs. That being said, it doesn't mean Darnold lacks athleticism or is incapable of running; he just doesn't.
Darnold ran the ball just 35 total times this year and recorded zero rushing touchdowns. He's not a QB that's going to run a ton but with this being the biggest game of the year; part of me feels like this line is a little short. Darnold hasn't run in a touchdown all year but somehow in the Super Bowl he's sitting at +750.
This read is based solely on the fact that New England's run defense has been elite. Not only have they done a great job of stopping the run but they also rank in the top 10 for rushing touchdowns allowed to RBs this year. They've caused countless levels of chaos for opposing QBs throughout the postseason and something just tells me we see Darnold run one in for six.
