We close out Week 7 of the NFL Season with Monday Night Football in Philadelphia. The Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys in an NFC East Divisional battle to conclude another fantastic week of football. But things are looking grim in Philly. Jalen Hurts has been ruled out for multiple months, likely the whole season. After two offensive linemen changes as well, the Eagles might be throwing in the towel early this year. Will they be able to take down the Cowboys on MNF at home? Find out with our expert picks below.

Not only is Jalen Hurts out, but the Eagles will be missing their top two wide receivers in DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks. Saquon Barkley is also listed as questionable. Tanner McKee will lead an offense with Makai Lemon, Darius Cooper and Hollywood Brown as his receiving corps, alongside Dallas Goedert, a banged up Barkley and Dameon Pierce. Now wonder this total is so low.

But keep in mind, they are facing the Cowboys defense, one that ranks No. 25 in points against this year, giving up almost 27 per game. Both 2-4 teams desperately need a win, and are far from out of the division. Although it may not seem that way on paper, this game means plenty.

Cowboys vs. Eagles NFL Analysis and Insights

Both squads have a win over the Commanders, with the Cowboy's being much more convincing. But both bring multiple game losing streaks into this one, with Dallas dropping games at Green Bay and to the Buccaneers. Philly have lost four in a row, starting in the Windy City to the Bears, followed by two home games and one in London, to the Rams, Jaguars and Panthers.

I am seriously worried about morale in the Eagles' locker room, and I think the Cowboys win this game. However, I think I have found some value in the player prop department.

Dallas Goedert has 12 catches on 17 targets in his last two games - Eagles Cowboys Expert NFL Picks

Best Bet: Dallas Goedert Over 5.5 Receptions (+122) BetOnline

I think this is a very good line. For starters, Goedert has cleared this in his last two games since returning from injury. He is getting looks he deserves, from both Hurts and McKee, including six catches for 61 yards on eight targets last week. That was with Smith and Wicks on the field in McKee's first start of the year. Without those two wideouts, the Eagles offense is going to beat the dead horse that is feeding their tight end.

Isaiah Likely caught all eight targets for 78 yards and two touchdowns against the Cowboys, leading his team. Mark Andrews was second in targets for the Ravens, catching three of five for 24 yards, while backup Matt Hibner caught both of his for 23 yards and a touchdown. Bucs' TE Cade Otton was also second in targets for his team when facing the Cowboys, along with Tucker Kraft who caught five of eight targets last week for 37 yards.

Regardless of how far down the field these receptions might be, Goedert is certainly going to get the looks. Back up QBs love a check down to a veteran, reliable tight end, and I think we see it plenty as the Eagles will be playing from behind and looking to throw the ball.
