Our official start to the MLB Season may have come a couple months later than everyone else, but we're off to a great start. Chriss Bassitt went 8 innings deep for the Blue Jays last night, and he needed every single inning to get us those seven strikeouts.

Chris Bassitt is facing off with his former team tonight in Oakland. Nasty Nestor at home, this is an angle I've been secretly betting in my own little corner since the MLB season kicked off.
Cortes is sporting a 1.12 ERA at home this season and he's struck out 40 batters through 40 innings of work. When on the road, Cortes has been a shell of himself, posting a 6.17 ERA without recording a single win.
Tonight's matchup with the Dodgers isn't the best but Cortes has almost no experience against them. He's faced them once in 2019 as a young pitcher playing just two innings.
The Yankees are coming off a 2-1 loss to the Dodgers last night and are looking to bounce back tonight. The bats couldn't get it going but with Nasty Nestor on the mound, I love them to make some noise.
