Texas Rangers vs Houston Astros Best Bets

I'm paying a bit of juice, per usual, but I'll back the cheaters at home. They lead the season series 4-3 over the Rangers, and took 2 of 3 in Minute Maid Park already. We saw several high scoring games, with the Astros averaging 4.82 runs per game this year, but 6 against the Rangers and 8.33 against them at home. Houston has won three straight and 9 of their L12 games, and 9 straight at home. They sit just 2 games behind the Mariners in the AL West, and I think they start off this series hot.

Texas won 5 straight before losing on Wednesday to the Angels, but they have struggled on the road this year. With this being the last series before a break, I think the Rangers might get caught dreaming about vacation early. They are back in Texas after going to California, but didn't quite get to go home before traveling to Houston.

Andrew Heaney has seen the Astros twice, giving up 8 runs on 8 hits and 7 walks in just 7.1 innings. Houston won both of those games. He is coming off a good start, but the Astros boast the best team average at home and overall, meaning they should shell him for some hits and runs tonight. Hunter Brown also got shelled against the Rangers, but he started the entire season off on a slump. Lately, he's won four straight starts, allowing just 1 run, a solo home run, across 25 total innings. I see him shoving at home tonight against the Rangers.
