After having their six-game win streak ended by Bailey Ober and the Minnesota Twins last night, the Los Angeles Dodgers will look to start a new streak in this afternoon's rubber game at Dodger Stadium. Today's series finale in L.A. is set to start at 3:10 pm ET.
The Dodgers (27-16, 16-7 home) opened the series on Monday by winning 9-8 in 12 innings, but it was a different story last night. Ober allowed just one run in his six innings, and three Twins relievers combined for three shutout innings as Minnesota (24-19, 10-11 away) claimed a 5-1 win.

On a positive note, there's a good possibility that they will fare better at the plate, even with one of the AL's best arms on the mound for the Twins.
Entering today, Gray leads the American League in ERA and is tied with Houston's Framber Valdez and Texas's Nathan Eovaldi for the eighth-best AL Cy Young Award odds. In his eight starts this season, the 33-year-old righty has allowed fewer than two runs seven times.
However, the Dodgers have a pretty formidable record in this scenario. When they have been held to three or fewer runs this season, they have scored five or more runs in the following game 11 times (out of 15 instances) and have an 11-4 record in those games.
Also, in games following a loss, the Dodgers also have won 11 of 15 games, including six of their last seven.
Since giving up season highs in runs (five) and hits allowed (eight) against the New York Mets exactly a month ago, May is 3-0 with a 2.35 ERA in four starts.
That is more in line with what he has done all season, as that start against the Mets is the only one in which he has allowed more than two runs or five hits.
