If you know me by now, you'll know I love a good divisional game in the NFL. While I'm not going to be deploying my system on this specific contest, there's a couple others on the board this week. Be sure to read about what I like on the total as the Bengals take on the Steelers in the AFC North, and in the AFC South as the Colts host the Texans. However, out west, the San Francisco 49ers are hosting the Arizona Cardinals for some NFC West action. Dive in to what our NFL experts are picking in this contest.

Trey McBride and the Cardinals have a second straight NFC West Divisional game
The Cardinals swept the 49ers in 2024, but prior to that their last win against San Francisco came in 2021. They started off looking solid in Week 1 against the Chargers, but followed it up with a rough showing against the Seahawks in their home opener. Now they face a 49ers team that is rolling early on, allowing just two total touchdowns across both games.
The 49ers players have clearly gotten their body clocks back on the Pacific Time Zone, as they went 5/7 on third down in their 35-13 routing of Miami. So far this year, San Francisco's offense has turned the ball over just one time, and is 12/19 when it matters most (on third down). Will the offense keep cruising at home against the Cardinals?

Cardinals vs. 49ers NFL Analysis and Insights
The 49ers are without Nick Bosa, who hit the injury report today, and Mike Evans' status remains questionable. However I still think they are the much more talented team on both sides of the ball. They already have a divisional win, while the Cardinals do not. I would like to be on the side of the Niners, but with the line steaming towards double digits, I'll hold off in case they only win by a touchdown.
However, I think I have found a safe way (famous last words) to get a certain player's reception prop at a much more tasteful price.
Arizona Cardinals vs. San Francisco 49ers NFL Expert Picks
George Kittle is one of Brock Purdy's favorite targets. Will he show out in Sunday at home?
Best Bet: George Kittle 4+ Receptions/49ers ML (+100) BetOnline
I love betting on tight end receptions. These guys are safety nets for their quarterbacks, a pair of sure hands in times of trouble. Brock Purdy especially loves his TE, and he makes sure to show it on the field. All we need is four Kittle catches and for the hosts to win the game as nine point favorites. I don't think it's asking too much.
Kittle had just two receptions in Week 1, but he was targeted five times, so the volume was clearly there. In Week 2, he caught all four targets for 80 yards and a score. He also has great history against the Cardinals specifically. Last season, he caught all six passes for 67 yards and two scores against Arizona, and in 2024 he caught 2/3 on the road but 8/12 at home for 64 yards, and a score as well. His touchdown is listed around +180 for those intrigued.
If you don't want to back the Niners, taking Kittle up to five catches for +125 or better could be an alternative. Arizona allowed the Chargers tight ends to catch all seven targets for 90 yards, and Seattle's TE's caught all three of theirs. Come on, Kittle.
