Who will reign supreme as the best team in college football this season? We are down to the final two teams, as Indiana and Miami are set to meet in the College Football Playoff National Championship on Monday, January 19.

In the first season of the 12-team CFP, Ohio State outlasted the field to win its first national championship in a decade.

However, the Buckeyes will not repeat after being upset by Miami in the Cotton Bowl on New Year's Eve.

But the Big Ten is on the verge of a third straight CFP crown after Michigan's title win over Washington two years ago and Ohio State's triumph over Notre Dame last season.

After annihilating Alabama in the Rose Bowl, the top-seeded Hoosiers hammered Oregon 56-22 in the Peach Bowl to improve to 15-0 this season.

Standing in their way of a first national title and the first 16-0 season in FBS history is No. 10 Miami, who outlasted Ole Miss 34-31 in a Fiesta Bowl thriller.

Miami may get to go for the gold at home at Hard Rock Stadium, but after destroying their first two CFP opponents, Indiana is firmly favored at Lucky Rebel and other top online sportsbooks. Will the Hoosiers close the deal and win their first national championship?

Through all of the thrills, twists, and turns to come in the coming weeks, Betting News will have expert picks and consensus picks for all 11 CFP games, courtesy of college football analysts Nate Hornung and Colby Marchio.
