Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN has rolled around once again, and this week we get to see the Philadelphia Phillies take on the Washington Nationals.
We've got our prediction and best bet for the game at hand. These teams are all too familiar with each other, as this is the 13th and final meeting this season.
The Phillies currently lead the season series 7-5 after beating the Nats 12-3 last night.
Philadelphia is currently on top of the wild card spot, and they will look to stay there as the season comes to a close.
I think the Phillies run away with this one, and it could get very one sided.
There are several Philadelphia hitters that have great history against Trevor Williams, and I think they could exploit that on national television tonight.
I lean with the over, but am not sure the Nationals will provide enough run support to get us there, so instead I have a couple player props.
Realmuto bats .417 against Williams in just 12 at bats. He is 5/12 with a single, a double, and three home runs.
Realmuto has also been hot recently, clearing in 7 of his last 10, totaling 21 bases.
He also does well against the Nationals, clearing this line in 6/11 games, but soaring well over the line. He has games with 6, 5, 5, and 4 total bases against Washington.
In total, Realmuto has 26 bases in 11 games, plus 4 HR this season.
For the price, I like him to smack a double and probably even go yard again.
