The Braves lead the season series over the Giants 4 games to 1. All five of these games have happened in the past 10 days.

In Atlanta just last weekend, the Braves took 2 of 3 from the Giants, outscoring their opponent 13-9 in that series.

The past two days they’ve beat San Francisco 5-1 Friday night, and 7-3 Saturday night. The beat down continues.

Tonight on ESPN the Braves start Jared Shuster, while the Giants toss out Tristan Beck in a bullpen game.

We’ve got a young guy for the Braves who has a 5.00 ERA, and the Giants bullpen pitching to the most electric offense in baseball.

That smells like the over to me.

As always, I do have some player props to target as well.

Austin Riley over 1.5 Bases (+106) Bovada

You can never go wrong backing any of the Braves hitters, but I’ve chosen Riley tonight.

He bats .278 against RHP this year, and has 22/24 doubles and 22/30 HR against them.

Riley clears this line in 53% of his L30 road games, and in 7 of his L10 as well.

He totals 27 bases in his L10 road games.

Against San Francisco, Riley has a hit in 4/5 games, but only cleared this line in 2/5.

He did so last night with a home run, and tonight I see him doing it again.

Wilmer Flores over 1.5 Bases (+108)

Flores smashes left-handed pitchers.

He bats .344 against them this year, and has 12 of his 19 doubles against RHP.

Shuster allows RHP to hit .256 against him and has given up 22/28 singles, 7/8 doubles, both triples, and 3/4 HR to right handed batters.

Flores has cleared this number in 6 of his L10 home games, totaling 21 bases, 3 home runs and 2 doubles in that stretch.

He has a hit in 4/5 games against Atlanta this year, and has cleared this bases line in 2 of those 5, with 2 home runs this year.
