Two of the best teams in the National League square off today in Los Angeles as the Dodgers host the Reds in the final game of a three game series.
The Dodgers currently lead the NL West over the Giants by 3 games, posting a 59-44 record overall and 31-19 at home.
The Reds are battling for the NL Central and are currently a half game behind the Brewers. Cincinnati is 57-49 overall, but they are better on the road.
They're a staggering 29-23 on the road, compared to 28-26 at home.
Today, the Reds look to win this much needed game after winning 7 of their last 10.

Reds vs Dodgers Season Recap
These teams played at Great American Ball Park in early June, where the Reds took two of three against the Dodgers.
The Reds won two close games, by scores of 9-8 and 8-6, but they were shutout by Clayton Kershaw as the Dodgers won the series finale, 6-0.
The teams have split two games so far in this series, meaning the Dodgers need this one to even it up. The Reds won on Friday night by a score of 6-5, another nail biter.
Los Angeles took the game last night, winning just 3-2, thanks to not one, but two, Max Muncy home runs.
This will be the teams final game of the season unless they meet in the playoffs.
Motivation to beat their opponent is at an all time high in both dugouts.

Reds vs Dodgers Prediction & Best Bets
Graham Ashcraft already has one start against the Dodgers this season, but it's one he is probably hoping to forget.
Ashcraft only went 2.2 innings before giving up 3 Earned Runs on the same amount of hits. He struck out just 1 batter and walked 2 before being pulled.
In that game, Kershaw shutout the Reds and LA won the game 6-0, giving Ashcraft his 5th loss of the season.
With the Dodgers impressive home record, and taking into account the outing Ashcraft had last time, I definitely lean with the Dodgers.
Now, he was impressive in Milwaukee, but he did throw 110 pitches, the most he's thrown this year.
I like some Dodger batters to light up his tired arm.

Bit of a heat check with Muncy, but I'll bite on another lefty against Ashcraft.
Only batting .199 on the year, his average jumps to .226 against RHP.
Last night Muncy had two home runs, in just 3 plate appearances.
He's cleared 2+ bases in 6 of his last 10 games, totaling 30 games in that stretch.
Like I said, bit of a gamble, but I think Muncy stays hot against this pitcher tonight.
