Rays vs Rangers Season History
Back in early June, these teams met in Tampa Bay for their first series of the season. We saw plenty of runs scored in those games, with each contest seeing at least 10 runs between the two teams.
The Rays won two out of the three games at Tropicana Field, and currently sit on top of the American League with a 60-36 record.
The Rangers lead the AL West by three games, boasting a 55-39 record. They are also one of the best teams at home this MLB season, going 30-18 in home games so far this year.
After dropping two games away in June, the Rangers should have their eyes set on getting revenge this series at home.
Will they be able to do that? Or will the Rays continue to solidify themselves as the team to beat in the American League?

Rays vs Rangers Prediction & Best Bets
We are spoiled and get to see two of the best pitchers in the league go head to head tonight!
Shane McClanahan already pitched once against this Rangers team this year. He went 7 innings, struck out 5 batters on his way to his 10th win of the season. McClanahan allowed just 3 earned runs on 4 hits and only walked one batter.
Dane Dunning has yet to face the Rays bats this year, however he is off to a fantastic season. After struggling in the start, Dunning has since turned it around and looks phenomenal recently.
He is not a strikeout pitcher, but the Rays rarely strikeout as is.
Although these offenses are top tier, I do think we see these pitchers shove and the game stay low scoring.
