The Phillies are in the Windy City taking on the Cubs in this National League matchup! We've got our prediction and best bets for the June 27th contest!
Both teams are currently 3rd in their respective division, and the Cubbies might be a bit jet lagged from the London Series across the pond. Chicago split two games with the Cardinals over in England, while the Phillies took 2 of 3 against the Mets in Philadelphia.
Now on the road, the Phillies look to start a winning streak tonight in Chicago.

Phillies vs Cubs Preview
These two teams faced off in mid-May for three games in Philly.
The home team won the last 2 out of 3 games that had some interesting totals. The Cubs won the first game 10-1. Philadelphia would respond and beat down Chicago 12-3 the next day. Game 3 was a low scoring showdown, with the Phillies winning the ball game 2-1.
Today on the mound we have two pitchers who have already faced their opponents once this year. They pitched in consecutive games in the first series.
And neither of them lasted very long.

I sure hope so.

As stated, these pitchers both already faced their opponents and it did not go well for either one. Suárez only lasted 2 innings. He gave up 4 earned runs on 5 hits and 3 walks before being pulled.
Taillon's start wasn't much better.
The day after Suárez got shelled, Taillon took the mound and only lasted 2.1 innings. He allowed 8 runs, 6 of them earned, and 6 hits, 2 of them home runs. Taillon walked 3 batters and struck out 1 before being pulled.
I think we see these pitchers struggle tonight in a repeat of what happened last time.

Harper only clears this number in about 50% of away games this season, but he's performing well recently on the road.
He's cleared this line in 6 of his last 8 away games, and in 2 straight away games. Now the Phillies have been on a home stand, so he's only hit this in 3 of his last 10 games overall, but those were all at home.

He also does well against Taillon and the Cubs.
Harper has cleared this line in 2 of 3 games against Chicago this year, including the game against Taillon. He's had a walk and a single in 2 plate appearances against Taillon this year.
But overall, Harper is 4/10 with a double and 2 RBIs and 2 walks against this guy.
Based off that history and his performance on the road, I like Harper to be great tonight, especially for plus money.
