These two teams did not see each other during the first half of the MLB season, but we're in for a showdown tonight between two big name pitchers.

Now before I get into that, let's discuss last night's game.
The Padres won by a score of 8-3 in Philadelphia Friday night.
"Slam Diego" hit two home runs in the 3rd inning and never looked back. Yu Darvish pitched 6 innings, giving up just 1 run on 5 hits while striking out 9 batters.
The Padres bats were flying last night, but do we think they can keep it up?
Or is Phillies' starter Taijuan Walker going to shut down San Diego?
Padres vs Phillies Prediction Best Bets
I don't necessarily have a strong play on a side or total in this game, although, I will give you a lean.
We've got two guys on the mound who have some nasty stuff and know how to shove.
Snell has been on a tear recently, and Walker has been nothing short of great in recent starts.
I think they both have a memorable performance on the bump this afternoon, and I think that keeps this game low scoring.

Blake Snell over 7.5 Strikeouts (-110)
Back to the well, indeed.
This guy has cashed for us in the past, here we are going right back to him.
Snell has been unreal his past few starts.
This year in 18 starts, he has 5 games with double digit strikeouts. All five of those games have occurred in his last six starts.
In his last seven starts, Blake Snell has 71 total strikeouts, averaging over 10.1 per game. He also has a season average of 1.35 K/Inning, ranking him in the 93rd percentile in the league.
Not to mention so far this year, the Phillies strikeout 6th most to left-handed pitchers.
Just before the break, we saw Jesús Luzardo of the Marlins strikeout nine Phillie batters before his time was up.
Pair Snell's recent form with a team that loves to strikeout against lefties, and I'll gladly lay the standard -110 on over 7.5 strikeouts.
I would expect this to be juiced to around -130 by the time this game starts.
