The New York Mets are down in the desert taking on the Arizona Diamondbacks! These teams face off for game 2 of a three game series!
We sorted through the betting odds and came up with our prediction and best bets for tonight's game!
Last night, the Mets secure a road victory by a score of 8-5. After falling down 1-0 after the 1st, New York scored 3 in the top of the 4th to jump out to a 3-1 lead.
After 5 innings, it was all tied up at 4, but the Mets would go on to score 2 in the 7th, and 1 more in both the 8th and 9th innings to get the win. The Diamondbacks got one back in the 9th, but it was far too late.
Tonight, the NL West leading Diamondbacks will look to turn around their two-game skid, and get the win at home.

Can the Diamondbacks Stop Their Losing Streak?
The division leading Diamondbacks have lost two straight games, and the Dodgers and Giants are quickly gaining some ground in the NL West title race. Arizona might not have been on everyone's radar's early in the season, and now many are jumping ship and losing hope in this squad.
On the other side of the National League, the Mets have now won three straight but are still 4th in the NL East. With Kodai Senga on the mound tonight, New York will hope to steal another game on the road to improve their 19-27 away record.
Will they be able to? Or can the Diamondbacks stop the bleeding and get a much needed victory?

For plus money, I'll bet on the Mets to give Senga the run support he needs to get this win. We're taking it one step further as well.

Senga clears this number in 80% of starts this season. He's already got over 100 Ks on the season and ranks in the 85th percentile in K/Inning averaging 1.24.
He's hit this number in 6/7 road starts, four straight road starts, and 8 of his last 9 games overall. Senga simply strikes people out.
Now, the Diamondbacks are actually the 3rd best batting team against RHP in terms of K% (Just 19.7%), however the past two opposing starters have struck out 9 batters each.
I think Senga could do the same and I'll be laddering his strikeouts.

Kodai Senga has hit 8 strikeouts three times this year, and also has games with 9 and 12 Ks. I'm seeing 9+ Ks at +700 and double digits Ks for +1300 for anyone interested in climbing the ladder to the top.
