After Thursday's series opener between the Houston Astros and Minnesota Twins was postponed, the Twins walked it off in 10 innings last night to continue their bright start to the season.
Today, the two teams will be first up on the MLB schedule (2:10 pm ET/1:10 pm local time) as Houston (3-5), who has lost four of five, looks to get back on track against Minnesota (5-2).
The mound matchup for game two in Minneapolis will see Luis Garcia take the hill for Houston, while Joe Ryan will get the ball for Minnesota.

Will Ryan's Daytime Success Continue?
Last season, Ryan went 13-8 with a 3.55 ERA in 27 starts, putting in a solid first full season in the majors after making a five-start debut two seasons ago.
A big part of his successful season was how he fared in daytime games.
In 17 nighttime starts, Ryan was only 7-6 with a 4.42 ERA. But in his ten daytime starts, Ryan was 6-2 with a 2.11 ERA.
Results from his first start of the season offer up an indication that he is picking up where he left off last season.
Last Sunday, he made his season debut against the Kansas City Royals, and in six innings pitched, he allowed just one run, three hits, and two walks and picked up the win in a 3-1 Minnesota win.

This is also a good spot for the Twins as a slight favorite over the Astros. Thus far this season, Minnesota is 5-1 SU as a favorite, with the lone loss coming against the Miami Marlins on Tuesday.
Last season, the Twins were one of the better teams in the league when it came to taking care of business as a home favorite. They were 39-19 (67.2%) as a home favorite, which was good for eighth in the league. That success rate was higher than five teams who made the playoffs: the Rays, Phillies, Mariners, Blue Jays, and Padres.
