We've got an NL West Showdown Thursday night as the Dodgers take on the Rockies in Colorado! The two teams face off at Coors Field tonight, and we've got our prediction and best bets for the contest on MLB Network.
Tonight is the final game of a series that has been split so far, so both teams will be eager to part ways on a high note.

Dodgers vs Rockies Season Recap
This series has been split, one game each, however, the Dodgers did take both games against Colorado in a short series very early in the season. In LA, the Dodgers marched to a 13-4 victory, followed by a 5-2 win the next day.
Fast forward to this series at Coors Field, the Dodgers looked to be rolling against this Rockies team as they won 5-0 Tuesday Night. Finally, the Rockies showed signs of life.
After jumping out to a 4-0 lead after 3 innings, the Rockies gave up 6 runs in the top of the 4th and watched their lead vanish. Later, in the bottom of the 6th, Colorado had a field day of their own and put up 5 runs to regain the lead 9-6.
The Dodgers would get 2 in the 8th, but the Rockies went on to beat their NL West rivals from Los Angeles for the first time this season.
Will they do it again tonight? Or will the Dodgers hit more dingers in Denver?

Obviously we know totals are high at Coors, but do we think these two teams can produce enough runs off of these pitchers? They combined for 17 last night, but tonight we see Emmet Sheehan who, in two starts, has pitched 12 innings, given up just 2 Earned Runs on 3 total hits, while striking out 7 batters.
He's got a 1.50 ERA, but he is making his first road start tonight.
The Rockies aren't anything special with their bats compared to the rest of the league, and Sheehan has already seen two tough lineups in the Giants and Astros.
The total seems a little too high for me, considering I think we see some Dodgers domination on both sides of the ball. I'm not convinced that LA will score double digits, or that Colorado will contribute to the over.
For this reason, I'll just be sticking with a prop in this one.
