The Atlanta Braves are hosting a team from Chicago but it’s not the Cubs. Instead, this will be the final game of a three game series between the Braves and the Chicago White Sox of the AL Central!

We’ve got our prediction and best bets for this matchup based on the betting odds and lines given to the public!

Let’s breakdown today’s matchup!

Check out our expert’s thoughts on our MLB Picks Page!

Braves vs White Sox History

These two teams are very unfamiliar with each other, and have not faced off since 2019. During that series, the Braves swept the White Sox and won all three games in Atlanta.

The Braves were also able to steal two out of three from the White Sox last time they played in Chicago in 2016.

Atlanta came into this series having won the past three meetings between these two teams, and they sit on the top of the MLB currently with a 61-30 record.

The White Sox are in 4th in the AL Central, and they are still looking for their 40th win at 39-55.

The Braves shutout the White Sox 9-0 on Friday night, but last night Chicago was able to squeak by with a 6-5 victory.

Will we see Chicago find a way to win? Or will Atlanta continue to push for excellence?

Braves vs White Sox Prediction & Best Bets

Even with Cease on the mound for the White Sox, it’s tough not to back the Braves.

Looking at Atlanta’s offensive statistics, they rank 1st or 2nd in the league in nearly every category. Runs, Hits, Team AVG, OBP, you name it, the Atlanta Braves simply dominate from the plate.

If that’s not enough for you, they also lead the league in Team ERA and rank Top 5 in WHIP and K/9.

The Braves are simply put, the better, faster, stronger team, and I will back them accordingly.

Player Props

Matt Olson over 1.5 Total Bases (-110) Bovada

Braves White Sox Prediction Best Bets July 16

A little chalky here, but you can’t deny the form this guy has been in.

Olson has cleared this line in 8 of his L10 home games, and in six straight games at Truist Park.

Since the All Star Break, Olson has 8 total bases in two games, and he’s hit this in three straight games overall.

Olson is 0/3 against Cease in his career, but he bats .245 off of righties and he’s seeing the ball well as of recently.

I’ll gladly bet on two Olson bases for this price.
