With Christmas Day falling on a Monday, the NFL has three Week 16 matchups lined up for Dec. 25. The action begins with an AFC West showdown at 1 p.m. ET as the Las Vegas Raiders (6-8) aim to keep their playoff hopes alive when they pay a visit to the Kansas City Chiefs (9-5).
After a three-game skid, the Raiders returned to the win column in a big way last week, picking up a 63-21 blowout win over the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chiefs have momentum too, though, after Patrick Mahomes passed for 305 yards and two touchdowns in a 27-17 victory against the New England Patriots.

Raiders vs Chiefs Prediction & Best Bet: NFL Week 16
NFL rivalries can take different shapes and forms. While some feuds tend to go back and forth over the years, the Raiders-Chiefs rivalry is the complete opposite as one side tends to dominate more often than not.
After all, the Chiefs have emerged victorious 18 times in their last 21 meetings with the Raiders. Mahomes & Co. haven't lost to Las Vegas since October 2020, winning each of the last six matchups in a row — which includes Kansas City's 31-17 victory back in Week 12.
Furthermore, defeat has gotten the better of the Raiders in nine of their last 10 trips to Arrowhead Stadium. They tend to struggle to score whenever they visit Kansas City, being held to 17 or fewer points in all but two of those contests. Las Vegas' offensive struggles played a key reason why the team was outscored by an average of 15.5 points during that stretch.
It's also worth noting that the Raiders have been abysmal in away games in 2023. Not only are they 1-5 SU through six away contests, but they also average the fifth-fewest points with the third-worst average scoring margin on the road this season.
The Chiefs have been far from perfect at Arrowhead Stadium, but they still average the 10th-most points at home while outscoring their opponents by a plus-8.0 margin (7th). Their three home losses also came against the Eagles, Bills, and Lions, who are all more talented than the Raiders.
And even though Las Vegas is coming off a 63-point showing, that's almost certainly an anomaly given that the Raiders lost 3-0 in the week before that. Kansas City has had a top-10 defense throughout the season and I don't see that changing against a team as inconsistent as the visitors.
I wouldn't overthink things at all when it comes to this Christmas Day tilt. The Chiefs will win this game, sweeping the Raiders for the third straight season. Kansas City is primed to make another Super Bowl push whereas Las Vegas will likely miss the postseason for the 19th time in 21 seasons.
It shouldn't come as a shock that I'm also backing the home team on the 10-point spread. The Chiefs are 4-1 ATS in their last five wins over the Raiders, winning four of those games by 14 or more points. In fact, 13 of Kansas City's last 18 victories against Las Vegas came by 11-point margins or higher.
In other words, expect another blowout on Monday.

Rashee Rice has been playing some great football, which is why I'm taking him as an anytime touchdown scorer as the best Raiders vs. Chiefs player prop.
The Chiefs rookie wideout is up to seven touchdowns in 14 games and has hit paydirt in four of his last six outings — including the latest two. Rice also had success against the Raiders in Week 12, torching them for 107 receiving yards and a TD on eight catches. That isn't too surprising, though, given that Las Vegas is tied for allowing the eighth-most TDs to wideouts.
Averaging 9.5 targets in his last four games alone, Rice will see more than enough volume to score again.
