Browns vs Chiefs, Odds & Picks: Cleveland Comes to Play in KC cover

The Kansas City Chiefs host Deshaun Watson and the Cleveland Browns in the final preseason game Saturday Afternoon.

The last time Watson was in this building, his Houston Texans gave up a 24-0 lead in the AFC Divisional Round, and went on to lose 51-31. Not the best memories in this building.

Let’s talk about this final preseason game and what’s in store!

Browns vs Chiefs Best Bets

Arrowhead fans will get to see a bit of Mahomes on Saturday, but I don’t think he will play too much.

With the regular season in sight, the home opener less than two weeks away, the Chiefs will not risk any sort of injury to their star QB.

However on the Browns side, we might see a bit of Watson for a while.

Getting him back into a hostile environment could be good for him as he leads the Browns to a playoff search this season.

I side with the Browns to take down the Chiefs, but I think the -3.5 is a little scary.

Instead, pay the juiceman and lay the -175 against a team that gains nothing from winning this game.

Browns Chiefs Odds Picks

We saw the Chiefs offense score 38 last weekend in Arizona, and now they the get the comfort of Arrowhead.

Yes, Cleveland’s defense is much better than the Cardinals, but we saw what the Chiefs reserves are capable of.

With Amari Cooper and David Njoku running routes for Watson, scoring shouldn’t be an issue against this Kansas City defense.

If the Browns want to beat the Chiefs, they are going to have to score points. Plain and simple.

I think they are able to do that and take down the Super Bowl Champs in this final preseason matchup.
