SMU Mustangs vs. TCU Horned Frogs NCAA Football Player Props

Josh Hoover had four touchdowns and over 300 passing yards last weekend
Best Bet: Josh Hoover (TCU) Over 2.5 Passing Touchdowns (+130) BetOnline
Josh Hoover has been slinging the pill so far this season, and I don't see him slowing down. This number is the best in the market by far, as I've seen this priced anywhere from +120 to +105, so we've already got plenty of value by line shopping. TCU may be missing their top running back Kevorian Barnes, and while they are deep at that position, it will certainly hurt the offense.
But that just means more opportunity for Hoover to let it fly. He is coming off a game where he had 337 passing yards on just 21 completions, including four touchdowns. Hoover is completing over 76% of his passes this season, and against an SMU secondary he should have the green light to air it out.
The Mustangs let Sawyer Robertson of Baylor throw for 440 yards and four touchdowns in their loss. Plus, the Ponies are bottom 40 in the country, giving up over 8.2 yards per pass attempt. I think Hoover will certainly clear his passing yards number, but in doing so, I see him finding his receivers in the end zone. Without Barnes, the Horned Frogs may turn to his arm in the red zone more often as well. Read more on this contest below.

John Mateer has four rushing touchdowns and 161 yards already this season
Best Bet: Jackson Arnold (AUB) and John Mateer (OU) 40+ Rushing Yards Each (+165) BetOnline
Back both of these quarterbacks to show out with their legs this Saturday. Jackson Arnold makes his return to Norman, and I expect him to be running for his life, and John Mateer is just a baller. Now, I like both of these guys over their original numbers (Arnold over 42.5, Mateer over 52.5), but watering them both down for 40+ yards at +165 is plenty of value for me.
Arnold has had double digit rush attempts in two of three games, going for 16 carries for 137 yards and two touchdowns against Auburn while only taking one sack. As for Mateer, he had 19 carries for 74 yards and two touchdowns against Michigan, and he leads Oklahoma in rush attempts this year. Mateer has cleared 50+ yards in 8/12 games last season, and has done so twice this year already. This guy is not afraid to extend plays with his legs and neither is Arnold. The former Sooner had 15+ carries in five of his last six down the stretch.
Both quarterbacks are true dual threats, who will revert to running very quickly if they feel pressured or can't find an open man right away. Give me both QBs to use their shiftiness to give their team the best chance at winning this top 25 SEC showdown. For a full breakdown on this game, click that button below.

Hardy has ran for 100 yards in five straight games dating back to last season
Best Bet: Ahmad Hardy (MIZ) Over 89.5 Rushing Yards (-118) BetOnline
If you have not heard of this guy yet, you might be asleep at the wheel. Hardy is playing like the best running back in the SEC, and could be up there for the best in the country. This guy is a workhorse, isn't afraid of contact, and will see tons of volume in this matchup.
The Tigers are going to feed Hardy the ball, trying to chew up clock, string together long drives, and keep LaNorris Sellers and the Gamecock offense on the sidelines where they can't score. While South Carolina's rushing defense is pretty good, they let the Vanderbilt Commodores go for 146 rushing yards as a team, including four different ball carriers breaking off a double digit carry.
Now, Hardy has had triple digit rushing yards in all three games this season, and he's done so in as little as 10 attempts. Last year, he had 100+ rushing yards in 8/12 games, and has eclipsed that mark in 11/15 contests in his short collegiate career. So far this season, Hardy has had a longest rush of 44, 32 and 71 yards in each individual game, he is running for over 8.1 yards per carry with five touchdowns this season, and has had 22+ attempts in two straight.
I expect this guy to have the ball handed to him a minimum of 20 times on Saturday, giving us plenty of chances to get over this number. Check out my full article for a complete breakdown of this matchup.
