Chris Paddack throws his fastball nearly 50% of the time
This game tonight is to decide the series. The Twins pulled off the road win on Friday Night, winning 4-1, but the Tigers got their revenge yesterday, tying things up by winning 10-5. However, over the course of the whole season, the Tigers lead the Twins in the overall season series, 3-2. Detroit took two of three games from the Twins when they came to town back in April.
Now the two teams go head to head again as the Tigers look to keep a huge lead in this division. Detroit leads the AL Central to the Cleveland Guardians by 10.5 games, with the Twins 11.5 games back overall.

Pitching Matchup
Minnesota Twins: Chris Paddack (3-6, 4.64 ERA, 1.23 WHIP)
Detroit Tigers: Tarik Skubal (9-2, 2.29 ERA, 0.87 WHIP)
Skubal starts for Detroit which is why they are such a huge favorite and we have a low total. I see the Tigers winning, and with no value on their money line or run line, this is a tough game to cap. However, the Twins away splits are pitiful, and they aren't any better against LHP. Skubal did not pitch against the Twins earlier, but the Tigers saw Paddack.
I'll be targeting a Tiger hitter in this game tonight.
Kerry Carpenter is hitting .252 this season, and .259 against right handed pitchers. He's struggled against lefties and usually doesn't face them, but he does just fine when the pitches are coming from the other side.
He had a home run yesterday, along with another hit, totaling four in his last three games. Now, Paddock basically only throws four pitches. Three of those four are below league average, and the one that is barely above average is his low velocity four seam fastball, that gets thrown 48% of the time.
If you throw a "slower" fastball nearly half the time, you better hope your off-speed stuff is doing well. That is not the case for Paddack, and tonight I see Kerry taking advantage with his elite fastball matchup rating.
