The Milwaukee Brewers and Houston Astros are only meeting for one series this year, and this afternoon's game decides it all. After Milwaukee took game one by a score of 5-4, the Astros got their revenge last night and beat them 9-2. Now it all comes down to today's game at Daikin Park. Like I said, these teams will not meet again, unless they both end up in the World Series, which is highly unlikely based on how the season is going. Nevertheless, let's dive into our favorite MLB picks for this contest.

Yordan Alvarez is one of the best hitters in baseball this year, hitting .305 with 20 home runs and 65 total hits - Brewers Astros Picks

The Milwaukee Brewers are alone on top of the NL Central, with a full four game lead over the Chicago Cubs. However, this division is tight, as just six games separate first and last place. We are in for a very entertaining race down the stretch as these teams battle for wins. The Houston Astros are fourth in the AL West at the moment, but they are in a very tight division as well. Just seven games separate all five teams in the AL West, and the Astros, despite being in fourth, are just 3.5 games out of first place.

They have plenty of time to turn things around and propel themselves into a playoff position. Houston has also been moving in the right direction, as both teams are 7-3 over their last 10 games. Will the hosts be able to pull off this upset at home against The Miz? I highly doubt it.

Brewers vs. Astros Prediction: Brewers Win and Cover, Over 7.5

Best Bet: Brewers -1.5 (-117) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook

Yes, yes, Jacob Misiorowski is on the mound for the Brewers once again, and this guy is unable to be faded. He already ranks fourth in the MLB with a 1.83 ERA and leads the league with a 0.83 WHIP, but over the past month, he's been insane.

Misiorowski has made five starts during the month of May. He's allowed just one earned run… Do I need to say that again?

Over his last 31.1 innings, Misiorowski has allowed just a single earned run on 11 hits and six walks, while striking out 49 total batters. For all you math people, that's good for a 0.28 ERA, a 0.55 WHIP, and 1.58 strikeouts per inning. It's also worth noting that he has had double digit strikeouts in three of his last five starts, posting eight in each of the other two outings this month. I do not have the plums to fade him, and neither should you.

He's going to shove against the Astros' bats whose batting average drops from .246 all the way to .228 at home. They won't be able to touch "The Miz" tonight. All we need is the Brewers to put up some runs for their stud.
