The Tampa Bay Rays have an opportunity to clinch the American League Pennant at home tonight as they host the Cleveland Guardians in Game 6 of the American League Championship Series. The National League Champion Milwaukee Brewers have been waiting on a winner since Thursday after completing a sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The wait could be over tonight, however. The Powerful Rays lineup was very solid at home this season, where they averaged 4.4 runs per game. At the Trop, Tampa Bay ranked 6th in batting average (.262), 11th is OPS (.748) and 8th in wRC+ (108).
The Rays will face yet another bullpen game today, a bullpen has been heavily taxed in this series. The Guardians are out of rested, top tier starters and several key relievers were used last night as Hunter Gaddis, Cade Smith and Erik Sabrowski all pitched over a inning in Game 5. Tampa's lineup should continue to put stress on this staff and I think the Rays punch their ticket to the World Series tonight. At almost -150 there is no value so I'll back their team total Over, at plus money.

Tampa Bay designated hitter Yandy Diaz had a fine regular season where he hit .293 with 25 home runs and 85 runs batted in. He's continued that in the postseason where he is hitting .314 with 4 doubles and a home run. He has cleared his total bases mark in 4 of the 5 games in this series, totaling 15 bases. Two pitchers he could see tonight are Slade Cecconi and Tanner Bibee and he has hit well vs both. Against Cecconi, Diaz is 2-4 with a double and against Bibee, Diaz is 6-17 with 2 doubles and a home run. No matter who he faces, I like Yandy to stay hot as he helps his team to a World Series berth.
