Two teams bringing up the rear in the AL Central battle out game three of their weekend series tonight. After having Thursday's matchup get rained out, the Cleveland Guardians and Chicago White Sox played a double header yesterday, splitting the contests. Here they go again this afternoon.

Sean Burke starts tonight for Chicago at Rate Field
This series is split, but that was the first time the White Sox beat the Guardians this year. Cleveland leads the regular season series 4-1 after sweeping Chicago when they came to town in early April. The White Sox are 27 games out of first place, whereas the Guardians are 14 back.
Cleveland is just a game behind the Kansas City Royals and 1.5 behind the Minnesota Twins, but the Detroit Tigers seem to be running away with the division. Chicago has won two of their last three, but are just 21-27 at home and hit .218 against right handed pitching.
The Guardians had won four straight prior to losing last night's second matchup, although they lost 10 consecutive before that winning streak. There's been plenty of ups and downs this season for Cleveland, but they'll look for a big win tonight.
Matchup Information – Guardians vs. White Sox – July 12
Fade the White Sox. It might be that easy, and I hope it is tonight. Chicago's offense is pitiful.
They hit .220 overall, .218 against RHP, and as a team are hitting just .209 during the month of July. The White Sox are limping their way into this All Star Break again, but I think they might've checked out too early. The Guardians will certainly want to finish this series strong, in order to instill some confidence going forward for the second half of the season.
Even though Sean Burke's splits improve at home, he is coming off giving up six runs on the same number of hits to the Blue Jays at Rate Field. He lost to the Guardians once this year, giving up three runs on three hits in just three innings, walking four batters as well.
Now the Guardians have been in a hitting slump for the better part of two months, but their .223 average increases to .226 against RHP and .227 on the road this year. Cleveland is still third in the division in runs scored, despite their bad run differential. Plus they have one elite hitter and six others with an above average matchup rating against Burke.
Tanner Bibee hasn't picked up a win since late May, but I think he's due for a turn around. He has several different pitches in his arsenal, making it more difficult on hitters to know what's coming. His three most popular pitches are all above league average, including his four seam, sweeper and cutter.
Give me a huge bounce back start for Bibee which hopefully includes plenty of run support from his dugout.
