Miguel Vargas leads the White Sox in most hitting categories this season
This will be the fifth meeting between these ball clubs. The White Sox took two of three from Houston in Chicago in early May, and then came to town and beat them last night. Surely the Astros will bounce back at home.
Houston leads the AL West by three games over the Mariners, and have now lost two straight. They boast a 22-13 record at home, one of the best in the entire league. As for the White Sox, they are struggling. They bring up the rear of the AL Central, 20.5 games behind first place and 11 games out of fourth place. Things are looking grim, but they have won five of their last seven overall.

Houston Astros: Ryan Gusto (3-3, 4.78 ERA, 1.64 WHIP)
The White Sox have been way too good recently. They'll come back down to Earth. This team has just seven away wins all season long on the road, posting a 7-26 record. They've gotten the best of Houston a few too many times this season, and I expect the Astros to be fired up in front of their home fans tonight.
Fade the White Sox on the road, it's that easy. They've lost by two in 15 of their 33 games on the road this year, and have only won back-to-back games away from home once this season. I don't think they start tonight.
Sean Burke's ERA increases from 4.03 (bad) to 4.45 (worse) on the road. He's allowed two or more earned runs in two straight starts, as well as in five of six on the road this year. Ryan Gusto hasn't been much better for the Astros, but I trust he gets more run support than the White Sox give Burke.
Houston jumps from 22nd to 11th in runs scored at home in MLB this season, while the White Sox are third-worst in scoring on the road. The Astros should have no problem handling business tonight.
