It's Game 6 of the WNBA Finals and tonight has the potential to be the final game of the 2026 WNBA Season. The Golden State Valkyries look to close out the series tonight and win their first WNBA Championship in franchise history.
On the other side, we've got the Atlanta Dream looking to protect home court one more time and force a potential Game 7 back in San Francisco.
With so much on the line tonight, I can't wait for this game to tip off.
Let's jump right into Game 6 of the WNBA Finals.

Leading Scorer Matchup (Postseason)

- Atlanta Dream: Angel Reese (18.1 PPG | 10.1 RPG | 2.1 APG)

Kiah Stokes is the only person on the Golden State Valkyries that has been able to contain Angel Reese, even a little bit. Stokes has hit this line in 3 of the 5 games of this series, she's averaging 10.6 rebounds per game in the Finals; but more importantly she's had 3+ blocks in every single game.
Stokes has been a dominant force in the paint for the Valkyries and it's why Coach Natalie Nakase has basically matched her minutes with Angel Reese. Reese had been held to under 10 points in back to back games and for the first time in this series, the Valkyries won back to back games.
The key for Golden State is stopping Reese and the only way to do that is with Stokes out there playing defense and preventing second chances.

Like I said above, Angel Reese is the key to this Atlanta Dream team team. Reese recorded 3 straight double doubles to open up the series, including to 20+ point double doubles in Atlanta's Game 2 and 3 wins.
Reese is averaging 12.8 rebounds per game in this series, she's cashed for us in 4 of the 5 games and now tonight they've bumped her up to 12.5; with this potentially being their final game of the year.
Tonight's game will also be the first time the Dream have faced elimination in the postseason this year. This is technically Angel's first ever 'elimination game' in the WNBA. Reese has played 33+ minutes in every game of this series, she's had 12+ rebounds in 4 of the 5 games and tonight could potentially be her final game of the year.
This Dream team is way too good to go out on their home floor and tonight I think we see Angel leave it ALL out there on the court.
