Jude Bellingham and England will certainly have their hands full tonight as they try and take down Mexico at Estadio Azteca
Mexico has yet to allow a goal all tournament long, but it's worth looking at the offenses they faced. South Africa, South Korea, Czechia and Ecuador don't have the same firepower up top as England. This will easily be the Mexicans toughest test of the tournament, but I have plenty of faith given the way they are currently playing. Plus, home field advantage never hurt anybody.
As for the English, they have been less than impressive. Sure they netted four against Croatia, but failed to score against Ghana and struggled offensively against Panama. Even last match against Congo, the win did not come easy, as England played from behind for most of the contest. They cannot afford to underestimate their hosts tonight.

I'll be rolling with the home town team tonight. Ultimately, I have been far more impressed with Mexico than England in this tournament, and I could see this match having a similar result to Paraguay and Germany. Although, Mexico is much better than that South American squad.
Clearly the books do not see very many goals, as they have listed the total at a flat two. I tend to agree with them, as I see the hosts making it nearly impossible for England to create anything offensively. Mexico is totally fine with this being scoreless through 90 minutes, or even through extra time. They simply don't want this to become a shootout in regulation.
But their defense has been stellar, and I think they have at least one more insane performance inside of them. This could be a statement game for Europe, as they no longer have a huge advantage over Africa or the Americas. These teams from AFCON, Conmebol and Concacaf are here and ready to compete with the best. Mexico will solidify that claim tonight.
