Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime Video is back for Week 2 of the NFL as the Minnesota Vikings take on the Philadelphia Eagles in an NFC Showdown.
The Vikings are coming off a Week 1 loss at home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, not a game they wanted to lose by any means.
Now they have to go into Philly in Primetime to try and take down the reigning NFC Champions to avoid starting the season 0-2. It’s a tall task for Kirk Cousins and crew, but they will certainly put up a fight.
The Eagles handled business against the Patriots in New England and will now get to take on Justin Jefferson and the Vikings in their home opener.
Who will walk away with a Thursday Night win?
Let’s break it down!

Can Cousins, Jefferson Upset Hurts at Home?
To answer my own question, I certainly think they have a shot to do so.
The Vikings to a great job of shooting themselves in the foot, much like they did Sunday, but Jefferson still had 9 catches for 150 yards.
Even when he’s not finding the endzone, he’s still a huge part of this offense.
Call me crazy, but I think the Vikings could pull this upset on national television.
The Eagles are due for regression, they weren’t overly impressive against the Patriots, and now they have a short week to prepare for Minnesota.
Philly stomped the Vikings last year on Primetime football 24-7, but tomorrow night I think Minnesota might come out on top.
The Pick: Vikings +7 (-110) Bovada
Primetime Unders?
Primetime Unders are a very popular trend in NFL betting, and they went 3/3 in Week 1.
We saw a score of 24-7 the last time these squads faced off, but I wouldn’t blindly bet the under in this one.
Trends are made to be broken, and both offenses are capable of scoring 30 if they had to in a shootout.
I’m not saying that’s what will happen, but it would not surprise me if this total soars one way or another.
Therefore, I am staying far away from the total in this one, but I do have one of the best player props on the board.
NFL Player Prop Bets
Kirk Cousins Over 262.5 Passing Yards (-113) Bovada
“You Like THAT?”
I’ll sure like it when Kirky throws for 300 yards on Sunday and soars over this player prop number.
In Week 1, Cousins threw for 344 yards as his team lost to the Buccaneers. The Vikings might struggle a bit against the Eagles so I think Cousins to have to throw the ball more.
He’s got a great receiving core in Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and TJ Hockenson. Those three alone combined for 21 catches 246 yards, and a touchdown.
This number seems way too low in a game that I expect the Vikings passing offense to carry them to victory.
