The UFC is taking the action to Glendale, Arizona for a very exciting 13 fight card at Noche UFC. Despite some uncertainty surrounding the Main Event due to a Yair Rodrigues, the UFC has found a great replacement.
Jose Delgado will step in on just a few weeks notice to take on the Top prospect Jean Silva. Due to the high striking prowess of both fighters, the bout is sure to be fireworks from start to finish.

Main Event: Jean Silva vs Jose Delgado Preview – Featherweight

Short Notice Main Event Between Top Featherweight Contenders
The Highly anticipated Main Event of Noche UFC is one that comes with minor controversy. Jean silva was originally scheduled to meet Yair Rodriguez in the main event but Rodriguez was forced to pull out leaving the Main Event in question.
The UFC has done a great job filling the gap, with another top Mexican prospect stepping in on short notice. Jose Delgado will be stepping in for his first UFC main event and 5 round fight in the promotion.
Thus far in his run Jose Delgado has proven to be a dangerous striker. Since earning his contract on Dana White's Contender series in 2024, The mexican prospect has gone 4-1 on a 5 fight stretch.
The lone loss came as a veteran lesson to seasoned gate keeper Nathanial Wood. Sometimes in the fight game a loss as a young fighter is exactly what you need to propel yourself to a new level.
Since Delgado has put together 2 incredible performances defeating a seasoned veteran in Andre Fili and top prospect Austin Bashi. Delgado has shown improved take down defense and flashed much better cardio deep into fights.
Will Delgado Prove He Belongs?
There is no doubt in my mind Jean Silva will have his hands full despite being a massive favorite in the match up. The line is most likely just a product of the level of competition each fighter has faced.
In his UFC run, Jean Silva has quickly rose to the top of the featherweight division. With Match ups against some of the top prospects in the division such as Diego Lopes, Arnold Allen, & Bryce Mitchell.
In 7 UFC fights Jean Silva has gone 6-1 on his run. Ironically enough Silva's lone loss came at the hands of Diego Lopes on the last Noche UFC card.
Silva performed well early but Diego Lopes proved to be more durable in the match up. After many knockdowns early, Silva was knocked down himself several times before eating a spinning back elbow from hell.
Despite the devastating loss, the first in his UFC career, Silva bounced back with an impressive performance over Arnold Allen. I expect much of the same in this match up, there are truly levels to MMA.
Jose Delgado has a bright future inside the UFC but I believe Jean Silva is just to complete of a fighter for him at this point in his career. Jean Silva will control the striking exchanges and use a mix up of takedowns to secure the Victory tonight.
