There's tons of day baseball on Thursday, and if you tune into The Morning Spread every weekday morning at noon eastern, you'll know that we are sweating out plenty of NRFIs and YRFIs to get our day on the diamond started. However, later tonight two American League teams meet in Minneapolis to begin a four game weekend series. The Minnesota Twins got Target Field looking all pretty for the World Series Runner Ups, the Toronto Blue Jays. Let's see what MLB picks we've found in this contest!
We've had plenty of success so far on the diamond, but let's hope we can keep it up all summer long! Discipline and unit management is key.

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Minnesota Twins MLB Betting Insights

Will Minnesota turn things around at home tonight against Toronto?
Now, tonight's game begins a new series between these ball clubs, but they've already met once this season. In early April, the two played three games in Toronto. The hosts were victorious in the first game, winning 10-4, but the Twins bounced back and stole the next two, winning 7-4 and then 8-2 to close things out. However since then, things have gone down hill.
Both teams sit in fourth place of their respective division, but recently the Blue Jays have been playing much better baseball. They have won two straight and four of their last five, posting a 7-3 record in their last 10 contests. The Twins have now lost two in a row and are just 2-11 in their last 13 games. Will they be able to turn things around at home against Kevin Gausman?

Back the Blue Jays to win by two tonight with me. If you'd rather just take the moneyline, be my guest. It is at a very playable number. However I think Toronto's bats are way too hot, while the Twins are struggling to get anything going offensively. As a team, Toronto hits .250 overall this season, with that increasing to .256 on the road and .258 against right handed pitching. Plus they are hitting .259 over the past two weeks. They are completely fine.
As for the Twins, sure their team batting average increases at home, but the team is hitting just .234 over the past two weeks and have only put up five runs or more in four of their last 13 contests. They are slumping harder than ever right now, and I don't see them turning things around against Gausman who has been shoving so far this year, allowing more than two earned runs in just a single start.
Give me Toronto to flex their muscle enough to cover this number on the road for some nice plus money.
