So far this season, the Mariners hit .189 against left handed pitchers, which is by far the worst in the MLB. The Tigers are No. 29 in the league against LHP hitting .212. Seattle's average is 20 points lower. Plus, over the past two weeks, Seattle ranks No. 24 in the MLB in batting average overall, hitting just .215.
Now time to talk about some trends. The Royals are incredible at home on Friday Nights. Dating back to July of 2023, the Kansas City Royals have played 33 games at home. In those contests, they are 24-9 straight up, 19-14 in scoring at least five runs, and also 19-14 in covering the -1.5. For all you math folks, they cover the run line and score at least five runs 57.6% of the time, and win outright 72.7% of the time.
