Sunday wraps up another week of baseball action, but there's still tons of spots that our analysts fell in love with. Let's look at their favorite MLB picks below and see if they can stay hot to start the year.

Cincinnati Reds vs. Minnesota Twins MLB Picks
Brady Singer needs to dial it in for the Reds today in Minnesota

- Cincinnati Reds: RHP Brady Singer (1-1, 5.60 ERA, 1.70 WHIP)
- Minnesota Twins: RHP Bailey Ober (2-0, 5.49 ERA, 1.27 WHIP)

Back the Reds to put up just four runs today. I believe we are getting their team total at a discount because despite being on top of the NL Central, they are actually tied for last in the National League, and the entire MLB in runs scored. The offense hasn't been humming like it needs to, but they've been winning games which is really all that matters.
I also don't hate their moneyline today with a plus sign as Brady Singer takes the bump on the road. Bailey Ober starts for the Twins and he has allowed multiple earned runs in all four starts this season. While the Reds won't wow you with any advanced analytics regarding their hitting, Ober only has three pitches in his arsenal, and none are that far above league average, while his slider is actually FAR below the rest of the MLB.
Give me the Reds to get over this number.
San Diego Padres vs. Los Angeles Angels MLB Picks

We are fading the Angels and backing the Padres in Los Angeles. This is the final game of this series, and either team could win. However, I think the splits all line up for San Diego.
They are 5-3 on the road this year and have won nine of their last 10 games and 13 of their last 15. Over the past week, San Diego ranks third in the MLB in batting average, and over the entire season they are putting up nearly 4.5 runs per contest. Not to mention they face Reid Detmers, whose ERA and WHIP actually both increase at home. Sure, it's just two starts, but the Padres' bats stay alive on the road, and if the Angel's starting pitcher loses control, its a recipe for disaster for the hosts.
Ultimately, I think the Padres are simply the better team, and this is a very playable number to get. I also wouldn't hate them on the run line for around +145.

It ain't rocket science. These two teams have played two low scoring contests already this series, and I don't see them stopping now. Sure, Framber Valdez and Garrett Crotchet have not lived up to the hype yet this season, but how about we turn things around?
Detroit hits just .210 on the road and .188 against left handed pitching, making it the perfect situation for Crotchet so find his groove and shove against a subpar hitting team. As for the Red Sox, their batting average drops nine points at Fenway Park, but it drops all the way to .219 against lefties.
I think both studs find a way to sit plenty of batters down and keep them off the scoreboard tonight.
