Boston Red Sox vs. New York Yankees MLB Picks

Cam Schlittler is one of the best pitchers in the entire MLB so far this season with a sub 1.00 WHIP.
Red Sox vs. Yankees Pitching Matchup
- Boston Red Sox: LHP Ranger Suarez (2-3, 3.38 ERA, 1.16 WHIP)
- New York Yankees: RHP Cam Schlittler (7-3, 1.89 ERA, 0.86 WHIP)
Best Bet: Red Sox/Yankees Under 8 (+100) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
We are backing both pitchers to shove on Sunday afternoon. Ranger Suarez was supposed to start on Saturday Night, but with the rainout, he is getting the nod on Sunday. The Yankees do rip lefties apart, and they already got to Suarez once. But there's no Aaron Judge or Giancarlo Stanton. This second time around, I think Suarez can focus up and make sure he gives his Red Sox the best chance at pulling off a major upset.
As for the Yankees, Cam Schlittler is on the mound and he needs no introduction. He is in the top three of the MLB in both ERA and WHIP this season, but he is coming off his worst statistical outing of the year. Sounds to me like this is the perfect time to bounce back. Against a rival, at home, I see Schlittler doing exactly what he did when he faced the Red Sox back in April.
For those who don't know, he pitched eight innings allowing just one earned run on a solo home run while picking up a win. Give me a VERY low scoring game in the Bronx on Sunday.
Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Atlanta Braves MLB Picks

Bryce Elder is a top 20 pitcher in terms of ERA and WHIP so far this MLB season
Pirates vs. Braves Pitching Matchup
- Pittsburgh Pirates: RHP Bubba Chandler (2-6, 5.05 ERA, 1.53 WHIP)
- Atlanta Braves: RHP Bryce Elder (5-3, 2.63 ERA, 1.08 WHIP)
Best Bet: Braves -1.5 (+135) Lucky Rebel Sportsbook
Have no fear and back the hottest team in baseball with me on Sunday. The Braves are looking to complete the sweep of the Pirates after winning the past two nights by the identical score of 6-3. I see them closing out the weekend with another two run win (or more). Atlanta has won four of their last five, and seven of their last nine, covering the run line in six of those seven wins. They have also only lost two games in a row three times this year, proving they are a very tough team to beat.
The Pirates don't scare me, especially with Bubba Chandler on the mound. He has allowed four earned runs in each of his last two starts, despite earning a win over the Astros on Tuesday. Pittsburgh is just 3-9 when this guy takes the mound, and I don't see it getting easier against a team that is 21-11 at home and hits .263 against right handed pitching.
Bryce Elder is on the mound for Atlanta, and I certainly trust him to get the job done. He ranks No. 11 in the MLB with his 2.63 ERA and is top 20 with his 1.08 WHIP. Plus, at home his ERA drops a few points to 2.34. I like him to lead the Braves to an easy victory on Sunday afternoon.
