However we are still up plenty on the entire year, and despite the recent slump, we are looking to end the season above the 20 unit profit mark. Let's fade Ryan Felter again! The man has a 5.97 ERA this year that only drops to 5.54 away from Coors Field. He's allowed at least two earned runs in his last eight starts in August and July, including seven to the Dodgers on Tuesday, five to the Brewers on the road and eight to the Reds in just 2.1 innings. While he hasn't faced the Nationals yet, I can't imagine things are going to go his way on the road tonight.
Both teams are on severe losing streaks, and something has to give. I'll easily lean with the side at home, despite their struggles. They hit better at home, and in their first one back after going 1-8 in their three series road trip, they'll be happy to be back in front of their own fans. Both clubs have little to play for at this point, but give me the hosts to show some extra pride tonight.

Let's not over think this. Yes, the total is high, but it should be. We are playing at Mickey Mouse Sutter Health Park, home of the Unaffiliated Athletics of Sacramento. There's going to be runs, especially with these two pitchers on the mound.
Zebby Matthews and Jeffery Springs have a combined ERA of 11.14 and an average WHIP of 1.41. That is not going to cut it, and will make me favor runs, even with two mediocre offenses. Matthews took a loss against the Athletics in July when they faced off at Target Field, and Springs gave up five runs, four earned on just four hits and a walk. He only lasted 1.1 innings before being pulled and taking the loss.
Springs doesn't have a win since April 14. After starting off 3-0, he has lost 10 straight games, allowing at least two earned runs in 13 straight starts, and three plus in nine contests during that stretch. Just feed me runs from the jump.

Both of these pitchers are studs with 10 wins on the year, but they have very differing splits which play in our favor tonight. Zack Wheeler already has a sub 3.00 ERA. It comes down to 2.67 on the road, and his WHIP is 0.92 in 12 away outings. He is 0-3 over his last six contests, but I don't have much faith in the Mariner hitters.
As for Logan Gilbert, he has allowed 18 runs in his last seven starts. He also watches his ERA jump to 4.01 at home. Gilbert is also tasked with trying to end the Phillies nine game winning streak. I don't see it happening, and although the BN Prediction Engine slightly leans with the Mariners, I trust Wheeler more than Gilbert and also side with the Phillies' bats.
