What's going on, everyone? I hope your Tuesday has been off to a great start. Today's MLB slate brings us 15 games, meaning every team is in action.

Throughout the long list of games, I've circled out three bets that I believe have an edge. So let's dive in and take a look at my MLB bets and props for Tuesday, May 12.

MLB Bets & Props for Tuesday, May 12

Yankees rookie pitcher, Will Warren - Guerrero Jr props

Will Warren Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-137)

Let's kick things off in Baltimore, where the Orioles and Yankees square off in an AL East matchup.

Taking the bump for New York is right-hander Will Warren, who has gotten off to a terrific start in 2026. Warren owns a 3.46 ERA, while his 2.72 xFIP is even better. He's also averaging 11.5 strikeouts per nine innings pitched with a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 24%.

Warren has recorded at least six strikeouts in six of his eight starts this season, including each of his past five outings.

Meanwhile, the Orioles have struggled to avoid strikeouts against right-handed pitching, ranking 27th in K-rate (24%) over the past month.

I don't envision Warren's strikeout streak coming to an end tonight.

Colin Rea Under 4.5 Strikeouts (-140)

A pitcher I will be fading this evening belongs on my own team, the Chicago Cubs.

Somehow, 35-year-old Colin Rea has been a saving grace for this Cubs pitching staff. Due to numerous injuries, Rea was inserted into the starting rotation and has pitched to a 4-1 record, 4.03 ERA and 3.59 xFIP.

While he's been solid in various areas, where he has lacked dominance is with his strikeout ability, as his strikeout-to-walk ratio sits below 14%.

Over the past month, the Atlanta Braves rank 14th in K-rate versus right-handed pitching at 21.6%. More importantly, they've been obliterating pitchers in general during that span, posting a 124 wRC+, .801 OPS and a .184 ISO.

I find it hard to imagine Rea has another solid outing in him against arguably the best team in baseball.

Athletics Run Line -1.5 (+130) vs Cardinals

Jeffrey Springs

Let's head West to the capital of California, where the Athletics and Cardinals begin a three-game series in Sacramento.

Starting for the home team is left-hander Jeffrey Springs. The southpaw owns a 3.89 ERA, .256 BABIP, 1.14 WHIP and an even more impressive hard-hit rate of just 33.6%.

Springs draws a great matchup tonight against a Cardinals offense that's dead last in wRC+ (58), OPS (.529) and ISO (.035) against lefties over the past three weeks.

The A's lineup has produced much better numbers during that span, albeit against right-handers, which is what they'll be facing when they square off against Andre Pallante this evening.

The A's rank first in wRC+ (124) and OPS (.815), while sitting fourth in ISO (.192) against righties over the past few weeks.

Pallante's numbers are shaky, with a 4.34 ERA, 4.52 xFIP, 13% HR/FB ratio, 1.37 WHIP and 4.51 SIERA.

The A's have the advantage across the board tonight, and we should look to grab a plus-money price with them.
