Dinger Tuesday is here and we've got a full slate of games to choose from. Let's jump right into my two favorite hitters in the MLB tonight.

- HH% — Hard Hit Rate
- BRL% — Barrel Rate
- HR/9 — Home Runs per 9 innings
- XBH — Extra Base Hit
- RBI — Runs Batted In

Today's Dingers
Byron Buxton Home Run (+280) | Lucky Rebel
Byron Buxton's been great for the Twins this year and tonight he's back in the Twin Cities. Buxton's hitting .304 at home this year with a .655 SLG and 14 home runs.
On the road that batting average drops to .241 and the SLG sitting at .500 with 10 home runs. He's just been so much better inside Target Field this year.
Buxton's also batting .271 against lefties this year with a 56% HH rate and just 4 home runs. He's only got 65 plate appearances against lefties this year but he's also got a home run in 6 of the last 10 games where the starting pitcher was a lefty.
On the bump for the Guardians is Joey Cantillo. Cantillo's giving up a 55% flyball rate this year and 9 of the 12 home runs he's allowed have been to righties.
Cantillo utilizes a mix of three main pitches against righties; a 4-seam fastball, a change up and curve ball. All three are pitches Buxton hits with power.
James Wood Home Run (+270) | Lucky Rebel
I'm going right back to the kid tonight.
Wood's batting .268 this year with 24 home runs, 81 runs scored and 60 RBI. Wood leads the MLB in runs scored, BRL (28%) and HH (59%). He's hit the 7th most home runs in the MLB this year and a majority of those have come here in Washington D.C.
Wood's hitting .273 at home this year with a .580 SLG and 56% HH. Fourteen of his 23 home runs have been against right handed pitchers and tonight's matchup looks just as good as last night.
The Astros will send out the 28-year old rookie, Tatsuya Imai. Imai's got a 6.14 ERA this year, he's given up 8 home runs in just 48 innings pitched (1.5 HR/9) and 6 of the 8 home runs he's allowed have been to left handed bats.
Against lefties this year, Imai's using a heavy combination of his slider and his 4-seam fastball. Wood's batting over .300 against both pitches and his numbers against righties have been even better.
He's got a HH north of 60% against both pitches and it's why tonight feels like the perfect night for Wood's 25th home run.
