Happy hump day. After a little bit of a vacation, I'm back with more home runs. We've got a full slate of MLB already underway and I've got hitters I love, still to play. Lock in with me and let's jump right into it.

- HR/9 — Home Runs per 9 innings
- XBH — Extra Base Hit
- RBI — Runs Batted In

Today's Dingers
Colson Montgomery Home Run (+280) | Lucky Rebel
Colson Montgomery is 24 years old, currently in his second year in the big leagues and the kid's already hit 24 home runs this year. Montgomery joined the White Sox in July of last year and since then he's become one of the team's biggest hitters.
In his rookie year, Montgomery hit 21 home runs in just 71 games, finishing the year batting .239 with a .529 SLG and 98 combined RBI/runs scored. This year we've seen his batting average take a hit, but the kid's been crushing the baseball.
Montgomery's hitting .222 on the year but he's hit 24 home runs, scored 48 runs and batted in 57 more. The kid leads the White Sox in home runs, has a 17% BRL and 44% HH.
He's hit 15 home runs against right handed pitchers this year and today he faces off with Cal Quantrill. Quantrill's allowing lefties to hit .313, with a .529 SLG and 44% HH.
Quantrill relies heavily on his cutter against lefties and that's a pitch Montgomery's been crushing. He's batting .345 against cutters this year and hit 5 home runs.
Yordan Alvarez Home Run (+220) | Lucky Rebel
It's Yordan Alvarez, that's the pitch.
I'm kidding, but that's how good Alvarez has been this year. He's batting .326 on the year, he's hit 33 home runs and he's got .649 SLG. At home, it gets even better.
At Daikin Park, Alvarez is hitting .372 on the year, with a .739 SLG and 18 home runs. Yordan's HH jumps to 60% at home and he's just been crushing the ball here in Houston.
On the mound for the Marlins is Sandy Alcantara. Sandy's got a 3.95 ERA this year and he's given up 14 home runs. He's given up 10 home runs to left handed bats this year and tonight he's going up against one of the best.
Sandy leans heavily on his 4-seam fastball against lefties and that's something you just can't do against Yordan.
