Happy Saturday. We split our two hitters on Thursday, but we're trending in the right direction. With half the MLB slate already underway, we're going to focus on the late slate and dive into to my two favorite hitters tonight.
Let's jump right into it. .

Today's Dingers
Ben Rice Home Run (+370) | Lucky Rebel
We're gonna kick it off by talking about this New York Yankees lineup and what life without Aaron Judge might look like. Since 2024, Judge has missed just 18 games and the Yankees have gone 7-11; averaging just 4.4 runs scored per game.
The Yankees are 1.5 games behind the Tampa Bay Rays for 1st place in the division and this will be the longest they've got without their Captain in three years. Luckily, they've got a guy in his third year that's absolutely crushing the baseball; Ben Rice.
Rice leads the Yankees in hits this year, home runs (18), runs scored and RBI. The 27-year old lefty is hitting a career best .305 with a .652 SLG. Rice has a 20% BRL and 51% HH this year. The lefty's also been great against left handed pitching.
Tonight he faces off with Ranger Suarez, not an ideal matchup. Suarez has a 3.38 ERA and has given up just 4 home runs through 11 starts. The reason we're looking to target him tonight is because Suarez has given up 14 hits in his last two starts, 9 earned runs but just one home run.
Tonight at Yankee Stadium, temperature is in the low 80s and winds are blowing out directly toward center field at 13 mph. Rice has been fantastic and with Judge out of the lineup, he becomes the Yankees' most important offensive player.
Last night he answered the call with a home run and tonight I'm expecting him to do it again.
Jackson Chourio Home Run (+310) | Lucky Rebel
The Milwaukee Brewers are at Coors Field tonight and the conditions couldn't be any better. Temperature in the mid 80s and winds blowing out toward center field at 14 mph. We've got Zach Agnos on the bump for Colorado and he's not having a lot of fun this year.
Agnos has just one start this year, mainly being used a a reliever. That only makes these stats worse. He's got a 7.78 ERA this year, he's allowing 1.6 HR/9 and he's been even worse against righties.
Agnos is allowing right handed bats to hit .333 with a .631 SLG and 5 of the 6 home runs he's given up have been to righties. Right handed bats have recorded a 15% BRL against Agnos with a 49% HH. In his last game, Agnos went 1 inning, gave up 7 hits, 7 earned runs and 1 home run.
It's been ugly.
As for Chourio, he's been great. He started the season late due to injury, but through 27 games; Chourio's hitting .295 with a .482 SLG. He's got 4 home runs on the year and is hitting .320 away from their home field.
Chourio's hitting .299 against righties this year with a .506 SLG. Three of the 4 home runs he's hit this year have come against righties and after going 0/5 last night, I'm expecting him to blast one into the stands tonight.
