It's Dinger Tuesday in the MLB and the weather looks immaculate across the board. I'm locked in on two hitters tonight and after getting back in the win column last night, I'm looking to get a little chalky once again.
Let's jump straight into tonight's best hitters.
The cheat sheet makes it a lot easier when I run through the stats I'm looking at and as always, hit me up on X if you've got more questions.

Today's Dingers

Yordan Alvarez Home Run (+235) | Lucky Rebel
Yordan Alvarez and the Houston Astros host the Minnesota Twins tonight with Joe Ryan on the bump for Minnesota. Alvarez just turned 29 over the weekend and the 29-year old's having one of the best seasons of his career.
The lefty's hitting .308 on the year with, 25 home runs, 58 runs scored and 56 RBI. He leads the MLB in wOBA, has the third highest barrel rate and has been smashing the ball here at Daikin Park.
Alvarez is hitting .342 at home this year, with 12 of his 25 home runs coming here in Houston and his SLG jumping to .664.
Joe Ryan's been great this year, one of the best pitchers in the big leagues. He's got a 3.18 ERA this year, he's allowing opposing batters to his just .220 on the year and he's given up just 9 home runs through 17 starts. So why target Yordan today?
Ryan relies heavily on his 4-seam fastball against left handed bats and thats a pitch Yordan hits for massive power. Against right handed pitchers, Yordan's hitting 4-seam fastballs at a .324 BA and he's got a 56% HH against this specific pitch.
Ryan's going to it on nearly 50% of his pitches against lefties. Seven of the 9 home runs he's allowed have been to left handed bats and 6 of the 9 home runs have come when he throws his fastball.
This price on Yordan is no mistake. After a weekend celebrating his birthday, the big guy's home and ready mash.

Max Muncy Home Run (+350) | Lucky Rebel
Yesterday it was Shohei Ohtani, today it's going to be Max Muncy.
After a red hot start to the year, Muncy cooled off in the month of June. He hit .282 during the month but recorded just 3 home runs through 26 games. Last night he finally got one more over the fence.
Muncy's hitting .288 on the road this year and 8 of his 17 home runs have come away from Dodger Stadium. His SLG jumps to .516 and he's got a 45% HH when outside of Los Angeles.
Against left handed pitchers, Muncy's hitting .278 on the year with a .590 SLG and 5 home runs.
Jeffrey Springs is on the bump for the Athletics. He's got a 60% flyball rate this year and he's giving up 2.6 HR/9 here at Sutter Health Park. Winds are blowing out toward center field and Springs relies almost solely on a mix of his slider/4-seam against lefties.
Muncy hits both pitches for power, even more so against left handed pitchers. I love this price and I love the weather tonight. We just need Muncy to make contact with the ball.
