Another huge game on this five-game slate. The Golden State Valkyries will try and play spoilers to the Seattle Storm's playoff hopes. These two teams last met in mid-July, and the Storm won by nine points.

Golden State is 23-19 this season and have clinched a playoff spot. They come into this game off a loss to Minnesota on Saturday by six points. The Valkyries are 6-4 in their last ten games and are 9-11 on the road this year.

The Valkyries have had to overcome some adversity this year after losing all-star Kayla Thornton. She went out in July with a right knee injury. Despite the loss of her, this team has grinded their way back into the playoffs after falling out of contention a few weeks ago.

This team has benefited from scoring all around. Each game, not one person is taking over the game and they lean on that player. Every game each player has been contributing to where they are ending games with at least four ladies scoring in double digits. They will need a full team effort to stop Seattle.

Seattle will look to defend homecourt and keep playoff hopes alive

The Storm are 22-21 this year and just clinging to a playoff spot. Right now, they need to win this game and the Sparks to lose one of their last two games to make the playoffs.

They come in on a two-game losing streak and are 6-4 in their last 10 games. This is the biggest game of the season for the Storm as they may not fully control their fate, they have to do their part. At home hasn't been their best with a 9-12 record.

Sky Diggins and Nneka Ogwumike have been great for this team and led the way. Diggins is averaging 15.6 points and 6 assists per game and Ogwumike is averaging team high 18.3 points and 7 rebounds per game.

Defense will need to be top notch, and the Storm play pretty well. They protect the ball well and have the fourth best defensive rating in the league. Rebounding is where they lack, so any step up there could tip the scale.

Definitely the best game on the slate next to the Sparks game. The Storm will be tested vs. this tough Valkyries team who has been fantastic this year. I think we see another close game here and taking the Valkyries with the points.

My gut says Seattle wins this game and gets in the playoffs, but there's another part of my gut that says they're going to have to work for it. Luckily for Seattle this game is not in the bay area even though they are not the best at home. They will have to play the top of their game for this one.

To start, give me Sky Diggins for 6 or more assists for -118. She's been cooking lately, smacking in her last three games and five out of six. Diggins has also hit in her last two games vs. the Valkyries.

The other play I like is Nneka Ogwumike for 18 or more points for -114. She has passed the line in her last three straight games and also her last game vs. the Valkyries. If the Storm are going to win, they'll need a big game from her, as well as Diggins.
