One team is hot and one team is not. The Los Angeles Sparks head down to Texas to take on the Dallas Wings. These two teams last played each other back in June and the Sparks won by 14 points.

Dallas is 9-24 this season and 11th in the league. Come into this game off a huge one point win over the Fever on Tuesday night. The Wings are 3-7 in their last ten games and 5-12 at home this year.

Rookie Paige Bueckers has been the center of attention in Dallas and rightfully so. Bueckers is averaging a team high 18.4 points as well as 5.4 assists and 4 rebounds per game. She only has one game all season where she didn't record a double digit point total.

This team unfortunately does not shoot well and ranks in the bottom of the league for offensive rating. Things are not much better on the other side of the ball as they rank third worst in defensive rating. Dallas rebounds very well even with the losses of Nalyssa Smith and DiJonai Carrington.

Los Angeles looks to stay hot on the road despite recent loss at home

The Sparks are 15-17 this year and are ninth in the league, sitting just a game out of the last playoff spot. They come into this game off a loss to the Liberty on Tuesday. Los Angeles is 7-3 in their last ten games and are 9-7 on the road.

This team has a high paced offense, ranking third in points per game and pace. They have some serious pieces in Kelsey Plum, Rickea Jackson, Dearica Hamby and Cameron Brink. Brink has just returned from an ACL tear from last season and still finding her ways.

Defense is a problem for the Sparks. They rank third worst in the league for rebounds and defensive rating. LA also does not protect the ball well, ranking second worst in turnovers per game.

Los Angeles was on a tear there for a bit, but is 2-2 in their last 4 games. I'm not sure who wins this game, but I definitely like the Wings to cover 4.5 at home. With Arike still out with a knee injury, expect Bueckers to be everywhere, but we'll get there.

The Wings seemed to play almost better with just one main point guard. They pulled off a great win over Indy and should carry that momentum right into this game. LA could be just as bad as they are good and it makes me wonder if the tank ran out of that win streak they had.

Like I said, expect Paige to be everywhere. She just had 29 PRA, clearing her line without a problem. The books have adjusted with Arike out and the line is now 29 or more for -128 and I still like. LA didn't face Paige back in June, so it's a whole new weapon for the Sparks to get under control.

The other play I like is Dearica Hamby to get 17 or more points for -122. She had 20 points in the game they last played vs. Dallas and also cleared the line in three out of her last four games. Good spot for Hamby with the Wings only really having Li Yueru as a big.
