We're heading to the desert for tonight's game. The Chicago Sky will take on the Phoenix Mercury at the Mortgage Matchup Center. One team is off to a hot start and the other is still trying to find their groove.
Phoenix is 1-2 to start the year and are sixth in the Western Conference. They come into this game on a two-game losing streak after another loss to the Lynx on Tuesday. The Mercury will be looking to get their first home win of the season after losing their opener.
They retained their big three in Alyssa Thomas, DeWanna Bonner and Kahleah Copper. All three who are off to great starts and Copper leads the way averaging 18 points per game. Thomas is playing her all-around game per usual and averaging 9 assists per game.
Newly added guard Jovana Nogic is someone to keep an eye on. The 28-year-old is in her first year in the WNBA and killed it in her first two games. She is someone we'll definitely be keeping an eye on this season for props.

Chicago will look to make it three in a row tonight on the road

Sky center Kamilla Cardoso goes up for a rebound in a game this year vs. the Dream.
The Sky are 2-0 to start the season and they look good. They come into this game off a win over the Valkyries on Wednesday. This new look Sky team will try to go 3-0 on the road to start the season.
Forward Rickea Jackson and guard Sky Diggins are both new to the team and playing great. Both are averaging 18 points per game over the first two games. Diggins is also averaging 7 assists and 8 rebounds per game.
Center Kamilla Cardoso is now the lone powerhouse under the net with Reese gone. She's averaging 15 points and 10 rebounds per game to start. Safe to say these ladies are playing well together already.
Can't wait for DiJonai Carrington and Azura Stevens to return to see how much they step it up. They could really be a sneaky team this season in the East. Going to be exciting to watch this team develop over the next few weeks.

I honestly think right now the Sky might be the better team. This should be a good game, and I think we see a close game. Give me Chicago with the points for -115. I think they can win this game if they continue playing their game.
Leaning with the game total over in this one. Both teams can score the rock, and we should see plenty of it. The Sky are definitely going to put up points and if Thomas is on, the Mercury should also do the same.
I like for Rickea Jackson to hit her points line. She's had 18 and 19 in the two games they've played, so the line is going to drop around there. Jackson has got comfortable real quick and going to be a huge piece of this offense.
