With the season coming to a close, we still have a big game on our hands. The Sky and Dream will faceoff tonight and are both tied for the last playoff spot. Washington is also tied with them but play New York tonight and that's a tough one.

Both the Sky and the Dream have 13-25 records on the year. The Dream are coming off a win over the Mystics but are 3-7 in their last 10 games. These 2 teams played each other back in July and the Sky won 78-69.

Atlanta has battled back to be where they are, but really could've had this spot locked up. They suffered losses to Washington, Phoenix, and Indiana where they could've won a few of the games.

Tina Charles has been playing fantastic with multiple double doubles. Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray have both been off their game shooting. The Dream will really need these ladies to be on the mark to get this win.

Chicago continues to fall without rookie Angel Reese

Chennedy Carter and Angel Reese

Sky teammates Chennedy Carter high fives Angel Reese.

Chicago really took a dive once the season resumed from the Olympic break. They lost as many as 6 straight games and unfortunately lost their best player in Angel Reese to a broken wrist.

The Sky are on a 3-game losing streak and are 2-8 in their last 10 games. They're just as good on the road as they are at home, getting half their wins on the road.

On the bright side, players like Chennedy Carter have really stepped up. She was a bench player to start the season and moved her way into the starting 5. Carter leads the team in points with 17.5 per game.

Other than rebounding, the Sky don't rank high in any statistical category. They rank 8th in defensive rating and 6th in turnovers on that side of the ball. Let's check out the odds and get into the picks.

I know this is a must win game for both teams, but the Dream will kick it into gear and take this game. Chicago has been completely lost with Angel Reese and show they're throwing in the towel.

The Dream are going to have to shoot well and from behind the arch. Howard and Gray will be the key focus around better shooting. Expect Tina Charles to be banging around down low and don't sleep on her double double.

Chicago won't have an answer for the Dream if they play their game. Cardoso will not be able to handle Charles without Reese. The 2 can play off each other, but Cardoso will only have Isabelle Harrison to help.

I like for Rhyne Howard to make 3 or more 3-pointers and I like Tina Charles to get 12+ rebounds. Without Reese, we may ladder Charles right to 14+. With the way these 2 teams shoot, there will be plenty of boards to go around.
