This team has really come together and is killing it right now. The West has the four best teams in it, so they're fighting off three others. Leading the way is forward Gabby Williams, averaging a team high 15 points as well as 3.5 rebounds per game.

Otherwise, this team has a ton of role players. Their offense ranks towards the bottom of the league in points per game and pace, but their defense is where it's at. Golden State allows the second least number of turnovers per game and has the best defensive rating in the league.

This team is still very young and managing to get wins. They are led by second year players Sonia Citron and Kiki Iriafen. Citron leads the team in scoring, averaging 17.3 points per game, and Iriafen leads the team in rebounding with an average of 9.5 per game.

They are 3-2 in their last five games, but the two games they lost (one being vs. the Valkyries), they got absolutely stomped out. They're going to need to make major adjustments and score the ball if they want any chance at winning this game.

Give me the Valkyries to go for nine in a row. They're going against a team that they are clearly better than and at home where they play extremely well. When these two teams met two weeks ago, Golden State handed Washington a 13-point beatdown.

I expect the Valkyries to smother the Mystics and keep their point total down. Washington is a much better team at rebounding, so there may be a lot of second chances. Either way, the Valkyries should be able to handle it again and overpower the Mystics.

Golden State only put up just over 60 points last game and had a sad offensive performance. They held Washington to under 50 points though. With the total we're seeing, give me the under on this one. We should see more of the same and they didn't even touch that last game.
