Tonight's match up out of Cali should be a good one. The Indiana Fever are in town to take on the Los Angeles Sparks. Both teams will be looking to get their first win of the season tonight.
Indiana is 0-1 and dropped their first game to the Dallas Wings. It was a action packed, high scoring game that they lost by three points. Big games were had by the Fever core three – Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell.
Clark had 20 points and 7 assists; Boston had 23 points and 4 rebounds and Mitchell put up a 30 piece. It's crazy to think they put up 104 points and still lost, but Dallas put them to work. Indiana will be looking for a big bounce back tonight in LA.
The Fever were a powerful home team last season, so the loss is a surprise. Either way, this year will be different from last because Caitlin Clark is back. Clark missed 27 games last season after she went out in July and never returned. Obviously, she's a huge X factor for the Fever.

Los Angeles will try to get their first win on home court again tonight

Sparks guard Kelsey Plum takes the ball up the court to the offensive zone.
The Sparks dropped their first game of the season to the Aces on Sunday. Las Vegas laid a beatdown on LA, winning by 27 points. Just like the Fever, they're in need for a big bounce back win.
In the loss to the Aces, forward Nneka Ogwumike had a great return to the team with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Guard and leader of the team, Kelsey Plum, went off. She had 27 points that included 4 three pointers.
When it comes down to it, Las Vegas was in the Sparks spot tonight – a bounce back after a loss. The defending champs came in and knew what they had to do and it's the Sparks team vs. the Fever.
It's going to be tough to beat the Fever, but if the main four players show up, they stand a chance. Big games are needed out of Ogwumike and Plum again as well as Dearica Hamby and Ariel Atkins. Hamby was a great pick-up last year and could really bloom around talent now.
Let's check out the odds and get into the Fever vs. Sparks picks.

I've talked a lot about bouncing back and here's going to be today's. Give me the Fever to win this game on the moneyline. They need to get in the win column, and this is a great spot for them to do it.
Indiana already showed they can pour the points on last game. I think they do it again tonight vs. the Sparks. I know the Aces are the defending champs, but the Sparks didn't show anything special either. The rest of the team has to show up other than just Plum and Ogwumike.
Give me Aliyah Boston to get over her points and rebounds line. It should come out around 27-28 and I think she grubs on the boards. She's much more physical than Hamby and Ogwumike to get those boards which will be what cashes us because she's going to score.
